A 12 km dalla città di Lucca a 300 mt slm., si trova la nostra casa, tra gli uliveti delle colline Lucchesi. Un luogo ideale per riposarsi in mezzo alla natura nella quiete della campagna. Il casolare, che risale a metà del '700, è stato ristrutturato di recente. Pare che nell’ottocento, fosse la dimora di alcuni monaci. A testimonianza di questo, a pochi metri dall'edificio principale sorge una piccolissima "Cappella", sempre della stessa proprietà. La piccola chiesa è sconsacrata, ma a fine maggio vi si svolge una festa paesana per celebrare il mese dedicato alla Madonna. Di fronte all'edificio si trova un piazzale ombrato attrezzato con tavolo, sedie e poltrone dove si può riposare o consumare i pasti. A disposizione dei nostri ospiti c’e un antico forno a legna che viene ancor oggi utilizzato per preparare carni arrostite, pizze e torte. La casa si sviluppa su due piani con 3 camere matrimoniali e una singola, due bagni, una cucina con caminetto, una sala da pranzo, una sala da lettura con poltrone e caminetto, uno studio e una terrazza che si affaccia sulla vallata. Le nostre camere sono arredate in stile, confortevoli e luminose. La tranquillità del luogo permette ai nostri ospiti una permanenza in assoluto relax.

Our house is situated in the midst of olive groves on the Luccan hillsides (300m. a.s.l.) at twelve kilometres from the town of Lucca. An ideal place to relax surrounded by nature and immersed in the quiet of the countryside. The building has its origins in the middle of the eighteenth century and was recently re-structured. It would appear that it was originally a home to monks and testifying to this is the presence of a tiny chapel a few metres from the house itself but forming part of the same property. The small church is deconsecrated now but still hosts a village event dedicated to the Virgin Mary each end of May. In front of the house there is an shaded open space equipped with table and chairs, deckchairs and a swinging seat, where guests can relax or dine al fresco. A perfectly-functioning antique wood burning oven is also sited to the front of the house where guests can prepare barbecued meats, pizzas and cakes. The house is structured on two floors and has three double bedrooms and a single, two bathrooms, a kitchen with fireplace, a dining room, a reading room furnished with armchairs and fireplace, a study and a terrace overlooking the valley. The bedrooms are furnished in an antique style and are comfortable, light and airy. The restfulness of the situation gives our guests the possibility of a totally relaxing holiday.
